IBM Redesigns E-Mail

There is another e-mail redesign in the work, IBM's Remail is a research project that seems to be on the right track. There is serious need for outlook replacements so that we can have a mail, calendar, and other communication tool that actually works as one needs it to.

It's interesting how different groups perceive how all this should work together. I just took a peak at ACT!, and it has email, calendar, tasks and contacts. But the focus of ACT! is the contacts. Outlook, of course, has all these things. But it is unfortunate to see that many other email packages do not go all the way to tie these things together. This is critical for MY information cloud.
